GS-Certificates - Fire Extinguishing Spray
GS certificates are awarded by GS bodies that have been authorized by the Zentralstelle der Länder für Sicherheitstechnik (ZLS). The GS mark is a voluntary sign. Legal basis is provided by §§ 20/21 of the Product Safety Act (Produktsicherheitsgesetz - ProdSG).
The GS certification includes a type testing, the examination of the model in relation to the fulfillment of the requirements of the ProdSG regarding the guarantee of safety and health, the regular monitoring of the production of the product and the legal use of the GS mark. After completion of the GS certification, manufacturer has acquired the right to label their product with the GS mark.
